Britain Approves of "3-Person Baby" Procedure
In a controversial move, the British parliament approved of a scientific procedure that involves 3 different cells in the creation of a baby. In both methods, the procedure is designed to address issues with maternal egg cells that have faulty mitochondrial DNA, using a donor cell's DNA instead.
