The Bacteria Amongst Us
Scientists are finding more and more types of bacteria that live through symbiosis with human beings. In fact, it is estimated that the number of bacteria cells outnumbers human cells 10 to 1. They are found in every single niche conceivable, from the guts of our stomachs to the folds of our elbow skin.
