School Lunches in New York City are Getting Healthier
But are they getting "too healthy" by providing too few calories? Some of the changes they have made at the school include:
1) eliminating soda from all school vending machines
2) supplanting canned
vegetables with fresh and frozen ones
3) removing artificial trans-fat
from all foods served in schools
4) reducing sodium and increasing fiber
5) removing all deep fryers.
