Cells, Cells, and More Cells! From one viewpoint, 2nd quarter can be focused on the basic unit of life, or cells. Cell Theory (7.4.1) talks about how all life is made out of cells. Cell Structure and Function (7.4.2) talks about what a cell is and the organelles within the cell. Organ Systems (7.4.3) talks about how animals and plants are made up of different organs systems, each with their own types of cells. And Classification (7.4.4) talks about how life is classified into six kingdoms based on the types of cells they have.
