Many of our species are becoming endangered or extinct because the abiotic and biotic factors in their environment are changing too rapidly. Pollution and global warming are affecting the abiotic parts, while overfishing and deforestation are affecting the biotic parts.
Different areas of the world have different abiotic and biotic factors. A desert is very different from a tropical rainforest in its precipitation and soil (abiotic) and in its plants and animals (biotic).
7.3.3 WebQuest helps explore various abiotic and biotic factors of the environment. Also, explore the various biomes out there to see where your endangered species lives!
